This has no scientific bearing whatsoever, but in some African societies there's a belief that when a woman without underwear jumps over a sick animal, they are healed. Video

That’s real, works for human males too

u/beamenacein Dec 01 '22
Probably not deadly sick and tired. Someone did it once just fooling around and it scared the animal and they got up so it was "healed" when in reality it didn't want to be jumped on so out of fear it does not lay down so it does not appear to be sick anymore. People believe if they don't wear the right dirty jersey or underwear their team on the tv will lose. It's easy to make connections when there are none

u/EngineeringOne1812 Dec 01 '22
Coincidentally Michael Jordan believed in his lucky pair of underwear, and someone in this video is wearing his jersey
2
u/MonteXristo Dec 01 '22
Wait hol’ up! I can change my underwear and it’ll have no effect on my team???
3
u/beamenacein Dec 01 '22
Only applies to the people without underwear that is connected to the fabric of reality. Better keep not washing/changing yours

The title implies that a sick person will be healed if they jump over the horse, not that the sick horse will be healed if someone jumps over it.
61
u/Bluejavel Dec 01 '22
It's just so random you can't help but wonder what their reasoning is
61
6
u/Mootivate Dec 01 '22
Maybe the fact the sick horse got up
14
u/Jftwest Dec 01 '22
For sure. Animals don't like to be jumped over. They want to move afterward.
The women without panties thing just makes it more mystical, as women and their private parts are mostly revered by societies

Last time i saw this vid it was "a faithful wife", which one is it???

u/EduRJBR Dec 01 '22
It's whatever the hell you want, my friend. Why don't we create another reason and make our own post?

u/Admiral_Andovar Dec 01 '22
I’ve been told I’m ‘one sick puppy’ and women jumping over me without underwear, always picks me right up.
8
u/adenoidsremoved Dec 01 '22
I've been trying to get pantyless women to jump over me for years.
So this is how it's done???
19
u/glieseg Dec 01 '22
You need to be an ass and lie down. Just the first part alone doesn't cut it.
2
u/GetSchwiftyClub Dec 01 '22
Gotdamn. After that comment they might actually become sick and have a better chance.

When women jump over me with no undies I get "up" too.
I'm just like a horse.

u/No_Knowledge_5316 Dec 01 '22
Seems like the horse was taking a power nap before it was disturbed from it's slumber

This is 100%, definitely, surely, undeniably, scientifically proven to be made up by men so they can take a peek

Fuck African "traditional" medicine: https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn28115-vultures-are-new-target-for-african-bushmeat-and-medicine-trade/
Really fuck them.

Maybe this works because the animal gets a funky whiff and it shocks them lol

One thing that makes us intrinsically human is believe in things that don't exist. If there will be ever aliens from another planet visiting us, they will be very amazed by our ability to believe in nonsense.

Girl:
"I think that's uncle John in his Halloween horse costume!"
Cousin James:
"No It's not, now jump over that sick horse and don't forget to flare your skirt when you do!"
Cousin Hank:
"Dad, can I be the head part of the horse next time, the ass part is hot and damp, plus I can't see anything!"

Horse: “Wh-what? Oh, I was just taking a nap.”

No kidding. Think we all knew that.

You’ll be believing a lot of things ( and seeing ) if you have to drink from the water hole in a village such as this

Their husbands jump over it with their bare, sweaty balls first to make it sick.

So, I’m a scientist and I’ll say this: they tested a hypothesis and found results which support their conclusion. It’s science, but it’s not good science.

What a load of rubbish. Just as bad as wearing a "lucky rabbits foot". The rabbit wasn't lucky!!! But the horse looks good, thank goodness.

That looked pretty scientific to me. It's a repeatable enough experiment so it counts... Right?

u/Ross-Perrotthelegend Dec 01 '22
This video comes with another title every time it is reposted. Very lazy and not funny. I do not get what the intention is exactly other than to portray Africans as needlessly superstitious?
1
u/SadAcanthocephala521 Dec 01 '22
Nah, that horse was just like....'did that bitch really just jump over me while I'm laying here sick?'

What do you mean, "no scientific bearing"? Seems like I've seen enough!

u/Joshua-Tyler-Berglan Dec 01 '22
I think it has something to do with the power of the vagina.
My wife seems to have a special power also.
I may have her jump Over me in a little while to see what happens.

There may be no scientific bearing but that lady did jump over what appeared to be a sick animal and it appears to be healed I don’t know if she was wearing underwear or not but that’s all the proof I need

The fact that there is no other women present, tells me that this is the first or many who has passed the "faithful" test.

Last I saw this video posted the title said "To test if a woman was unfaithful in their marriage."
