why aren’t there yearly driving tests people have to take & pass?

Currently live in AZ and there’s a bunch of crazy drivers. Wondering how people pass their driver’s test. Some people should not be driving. Sorry for the rant everyone.

That would be a huge pain in the ass. Any politician who makes life more of a pain in the ass for his constituents might not be reelected. I will give you that AZ is extremely lax in this regard tho. You get your drivers license at 16 and it doesn't expire for 80 years lol. Other states can and do have more regulation
